Jason Pappas

CEO & President

Before joining RocketDocs, Jason served as an experienced management consultant, specializing in growing and restructuring middle-market organizations. Jason served as acting CEO and president of Maryland Proton Treatment Center, a Baltimore cancer treatment facility. He has also served in a variety of senior executive positions, including as CEO of EntreQuest, a high-growth sales and leadership consulting, training, and staffing organization he co-founded and sold, and as COO of Florida-based Progressus Therapy.

Jason serves on a number of corporate boards. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Yale University, and a juris doctorate, specializing in finance and taxation, from The University of Maryland.

Prior to joining RocketDocs, Jason was co-Founder and CEO of Milestone Sports, a FitTech company that was sold to Zwift. Before starting Milestone, Jason spent over 20 year in senior sales, business development and marketing roles in companies such as Akamai, Nominum, Digex, Sensics and Motista.

Jason has a BBA in Finance from Emory University and is active in several Maryland based business initiatives including Maryland Venture Mentoring Services and TEDCO’s Network Advisor group.

Nick Maly

Nick Maly

VP of Operations

Nick has worked in a variety of industries and roles. Most recently, doing consulting projects while his family was based out of Amsterdam for four years. Prior to that he worked at EMC/Pivotal in the professional services group delivering complex big data projects and maintained a staff of internal and contractor resources. Prior to moving to Baltimore 8 years ago was part of a team who purchased and turn around a small business in the services and manufacturing (custom motorcycles). He has also worked at consumer product companies owning the category, product mix, and supply chain (based out of the US with some manufacturing in Taiwan and throughout China).

Nick holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA in entrepreneurship from Babson College.

Jeremy Steinberg

Jeremy Steinberg

VP of Customer Experience

Jeremy has performed as a managing partner of Antson Advisors, a Baltimore-based management consulting firm, specializing in growth initiatives for middle-market companies. He served as interim VP of sales and marketing at Maryland Proton Treatment Center, a free-standing cancer treatment center, where he led the growth of patient volumes by 82% while simultaneously decreasing the overall sales and marketing costs by 35%. Jeremy has served in numerous executive positions for various operating companies. He was managing director of EntreQuest, a high-growth sales and leadership consulting, training and staffing firm where he drove strategy and growth planning.

Jeremy holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Maryland.

Dave Taub

Dave Taub

VP of Marketing

Dave brings over 25 years of industry experience to every aspect of our journey as well as the growth of the organization. He is passionate about merging strategy, user-centric creative, marketing technology, and business acumen to deliver truly unique and impactful solutions.

David began his entrepreneur career as Co-Founder of Impreza Design, overseeing all aspects of the agency. Impreza quickly grew into a sizable, award-winning design firm that was acquired in 2000. In addition to being a co-founder of R2integrated, a digital agency that he grew from the ground up and was acquired by Baird Capital in 2016.

David holds a Graphic Design BA from the University of Maryland. When not working he can be found with his two sons supporting their own start-up businesses.

Jonas

Jonas Dawson

Senior Director of Technology

With over ten years of experience as a software engineer and many more in leadership, Jonas has successfully delivered software solutions for many customers in both the public and private sector. Jonas’ past contributions include customer relationship management solutions, educational children’s games, interactive media installations using natural user interfaces, structured light sensor middleware development, and compliance and accreditation management solutions.

Jonas holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information science and a master’s in software engineering from University of Maryland University College. He also holds a degree in piano performance from Shepherd University, and regularly performs as a music director, keyboardist, and occasional actor/vocalist for a number of Maryland and West Virginia-based community and professional theaters. Jonas currently serves as the Director of Music at Grace United Church of Christ in Frederick, MD where he is the choirmaster and organist/pianist.

John McLean

John McLean

Senior Director of Finance

Before joining RocketDocs, John served in the role of SVP, Chief Financial Officer at the Harbor Bank of Maryland.  Additionally, John spent 12 years in public accounting, including roles with two Big 4 firms, before transitioning into banking.  In his past financial roles, he gained experience with financial reporting, treasury and liquidity management, stockholder communications, management of investment portfolios, budgeting and forecasting as well as month end close consolidation.  

John serves on a couple of non-profit boards in the Baltimore area.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St Francis University, and a MBA from Loyola University of Maryland.  He is licensed as a CPA in both Maryland and Virginia.

Natasha Mezhebovsky

Natasha Mezhebovsky, CFA

Senior Director of Customer Success

Natasha joined RocketDocs in 2019 as a senior professional services consultant and has led the customer success team since early 2020. Prior to joining RocketDocs, she spent 15 years at BNY Mellon as a user of the RocketDocs platform, in a variety of roles around proposal and data management.

Natasha received a BA in 2004, with a major in Political Science, from Alfred University. She received her MBA from Simmons College and is a CFA charter holder.

Deanna Clayton

Head of Product Management

Deanna Clayton is an experienced Product Manager and Agilist.  Over the years, Deanna has become driven by her passion for working with people and teams combined with utilizing agile processes to solve business problems and build successful products.

With over 18 years of software and product development experience, Deanna is a certified agilist that enjoys building products that have an impact and improve the lives of customers.  Deanna joined RocketDocs in 2020 as the Head of Product Management and she is very excited about the future of RocketDocs products.

Meet Shadow, our team mascot! Born December 12th 2016 on Jason Pappas's father's 88th birthday, Shadow the Bernedoodle is a fixture here at the office. He enjoys lounging in the conference rooms and getting lots of attention from everyone!

Tammy Dungan

Senior Director of Professional Services

Tammy join the organization in 2006 whereby she has served our customers in various capacities from manager of implementation and training, sr. professional services consultant, and was most recently promoted to sr. director of professional services. In this role, she manages a team of consultants responsible for new customer onboarding, consulting on professional services engagements, and increasing system adoption as a liaison between customer and product development teams.  Her team provides best-practice knowledge to customers via on-site and virtual consultations, conferences, classroom trainings, and webcasts.

She often provides best practice and insights on prominent industry topics with her peers at our RocketDocs conferences and industry sponsored events. She was a keynote speaker for LIMRA International, LLC (LIMRA) and a guest speaker at the Professional Association for Investment Communication Resources (PAICR). In May 2017, Tammy was awarded the “Webinar Audience Champion Award” by APMP for the highest webinar participation in history.

Tammy’s prior experience includes six years at ING Investment Management as a database administrator and proposal writer where she restructured and incorporated new workflow efficiencies for a global RFP team.

Tammy received her BGS in 2002 with a major in Business from Eastern Connecticut State University. She also received a Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2018 from University of New Haven.

Jason Tagler

Jason is a Partner of Camden Partners. He has led growth equity investments in software, technology-enabled services, and business services companies. Prior to that, he developed software and provided investment banking advisory services to technology and business services companies.

Jason currently serves on the boards of OutMatch, RocketDocs, and Viventium. His previous board roles include Steelwedge Software (acquired by E2open in 2017), Prolexic Technologies (acquired by Akamai for $415 million in 2014), Ranir, and IncentOne (acquired by Welltok in 2013).

Jason worked as a technology consultant at Price Waterhouse Consulting. He also worked in investment banking and executed on IPO and M&A transactions for software and technology companies while at Robertson Stephens and Alliant Partners.

Craig Eckstrom

Craig is a results-driven sales and business operations leader with extensive market-making, start-up, and turnaround expertise. He has played key leadership roles at eBay, PayPal, Bill Me Later, American Express, Forter, CommerceHub, and Checkfree Corporation.

As a consultant, he is recognized as a “go-to” talent builder with agility to drive business strategy and planning, sales operations, and channel optimization. He has proven leadership skills and a track record of building high-performance sales cultures to disrupt traditional ecosystems with mobile, ecommerce, and technology solutions.

In leadership roles, Craig has delivered experience and expertise at ecommerce companies, including Forter, CommerceHub, and Checkfree to develop business strategy, build high-performance sales teams, infrastructure and systems to attack the market and maximize revenue.

Chris Formant

Board Member

Chris is CEO at Sky Codec, an author, and a technology investor. He is a senior executive with demonstrated expertise in building and leading turnaround and growth teams in technology and services businesses. He has an outstanding track record of performance improvement in both public and private equity-owned companies, including sales and distribution scaling, product revitalization, cost structure, service quality, and cultural transformation.

His key accomplishments include a $1.2 billion cost improvement, product line refresh, sales and channel scaling, process digitization and modernization for a global communications organization, and value creation for private equity firm with a $400 million margin improvement in 8 quarters. Chris has received recognition as one of the top 25 consultants in the world, 25 most influential technology executives, top 10 UCC leaders. For his work in service turnaround, Chris was a JD Power award winner at two companies.

Tim Hill

Tim has served as President & GM of the Higher Education Business Unit at Blackbaud Inc, Charleston, SC, since 2016. He is a visionary, award winning global marketing, sales and operations executive with over 25 years of executive experience at high growth technology companies. He has led worldwide sales, marketing and operations organizations at leading technology companies including Blackbaud, Blackboard, SAGA Software (Software AG), Iomega Corporation and Gates Energy Products. With more than three decades of success in sales/marketing strategy and brand development, Tim has been named one of the “Top 10 U.S. Marketers” by Crain’s Business Marketing; “Top 100 Executives” by Advertising Age and won “Product Launch of the Year” from Marketing Computers (for the Iomega zip drive).

Tim also serves on the Board of Visionary Integration Professionals, Channel Rocket LLC and the CASE Industry Advisory Council. Tim holds a BA in Business Administration from Taylor University.

Calvin Young

Calvin Young

Board Observer

Calvin is a Vice President of Camden Partners and joined the firm in 2018. At Camden, Calvin supports investments in software, technology-enabled services, and business services companies. He also supports deal sourcing and diligence activities.

Calvin currently serves as observer on the boards of Techtonic, RedPoint Global, OutMatch, RocketDocs, and Viventium.

Calvin started his career as a systems engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford,Connecticut, where he worked on helicopter integrated vehicle health monitoring systems. He then went into the United Technologies Corporation Operations Leadership Program (OLP), a rotational program for advancing leadership in the fields of supply chain, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

Following business school, Calvin worked at a commercial bank leading small business investment programs before joining Camden Partners. Calvin has also previously interned at the White House National Economic Council, where he focused on small business policy.

In 2017, Calvin was named one of Baltimore’s 40 Under 40 by the Baltimore Business Journal. He is a past National Chair of the National Society of Black Engineers. Calvin serves on the boards of Green Street Academy Public Charter School and the Pigtown Main Street Business Association.

Calvin earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from New York University.
