This week’s employee spotlight features RocketDocs Sales Operations Analyst, Minesh Tailor. Based in Austin, Minesh joined the company earlier this year and has been quickly streamlining our sales processes.
What did you do before RocketDocs?
Before RocketDocs, I worked in sales, most recently as an Account Executive for another tech company. I was always interested in sales ops and often worked as the liaison between the sales and sales ops teams.
What is your role at RocketDocs?
I am the Sales Operations Analyst which means I make sure the sales team has the tools and information they need to sell efficiently.
What made you want to work at RocketDocs?
I have completed a ton of RFPs in my previous roles, and I would have loved to have a tool like RocketDocs.
Additionally, since I am the first person to have my position at RocketDocs, I felt like I had an exciting opportunity to create my role and have a big impact on a fast-growing company.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I really enjoy finding efficiencies in our sales process. For instance, I have done a lot of Salesforce cleanup since I started to make sure that our system is running smoothly. I really appreciate that everyone on the RocketDocs team has been willing try and implement new
processes.
What is your favorite project that you’ve worked on at RocketDocs?
I worked closely with our CEO, Jason Pappas, on reporting for our board and investors. In the last couple of months, I’ve been able to analyze data that wasn’t properly looked at or analyzed in the past. It gave me the opportunity to get my work out there and help land us more
funding!
How is your experience being a remote employee?
I was working remotely before I started at RocketDocs, so thankfully the transition was pretty smooth. RocketDocs does a great job of engaging remote employees. I have a lot of communication with my manager and the rest of the team. I also got to visit our office in Baltimore which was great (even though the AC was broken when I was there).
What is the best trip you’ve ever been on?
I recently went to Maui for a week and proposed to my fiancée while we were there!
What’s your favorite movie?
I love comedy – I would say Step Brothers is probably my favorite! Overall, though, I’d have to give to The Dark Knight.
What’s your favorite restaurant?
Taco Bell – I can always rely on it, no matter where I am in the world.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I played a ton of basketball growing up and always wanted to be a professional basketball player.
