Installation and Using Astro

This is a guide to help with installing and using the RocketDocs Astro App in Microsoft Teams.

Astro can be found in the Microsoft Teams app store, users can access the store in Teams by clicking “Apps” on the left nav bar.

To install Astro, click Add on the listing.

Once the app is added, click “Open” to open a new chat window with Astro.

Astro will automatically produce a welcome prompt, and offer an option for the user to sign in and get started

When the sign in button in clicked, a new window will appear that accepts sign in information. The “company” input takes the first part of the company’s RocketDocs URL.

The Organization Sign In (SSO) button will be enabled once a company name has been entered, the sign in button will be enabled when all fields have values.

Once the user is signed in, they can jump right into querying their content database with questions. Astro will generate a response to their prompts based ONLY on information that the signed in user has access too.

Responses from Astro will include links to the content it used to craft it’s response, and offer an option to report a response if it is inappropriate.

Astro can remember a certain amount of context to help users finish their line of questioning. In this example we’re taking the response for “What kind of companies would RocketDocs work well for”, and asking Astro to provide some specific industries that would fit into that category.

Clicking on the sources links will send the user directly to the piece of content that Astro referenced when creating the response, as long as the user is already signed in to their RocketDocs site. Clicking the report button on the response will let RocketDocs know that we need to take a look at the Q/A pair in the chat to ensure appropriateness and accuracy.

If the user needs to pivot from one question to another and doesn’t want chat history coming into play, they can click the prompts options and select “clear”. This won’t clear the chat conversation in teams, but WILL remove any context that Astro currently has about the conversation – ensuring a clean slate of context for the next question asked.

Clicking the sign out option in the prompts list will allow the user to send a sign out message, logging them out of Astro.

Selecting the Main Menu prompt will repopulate the chat with the original welcome message, where the user can sign in again.
